Delete your AUTOSherpa Auction account
AUTOSherpa Auction is a product of AUTOSherpa, developed and operated by Wyzmindz.
This page explains how you can request deletion of your AUTOSherpa Auction account and the data associated with it.
Option 1 – Delete from inside the app
- Open the AUTOSherpa Auction app and log in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap “Delete Account”.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
- Select a reason (or enter your own) and submit.
Your account will be deactivated immediately and scheduled for deletion.
Option 2 – Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email support.auctions@autosherpa.net from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my AUTOSherpa Auction account”. Please include:
- Your registered mobile number
- Your registered email address
- Whether your account is a Buyer or Seller account
We may contact you to verify that you own the account before deleting it. We will process your request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- Your profile: name, business name, email address, mobile number, address and location
- Profile photo
- Push-notification (device) tokens
- Chat messages, images, files and voice notes you sent
- Your login credentials
What data we keep, and for how long
Some data must be retained to meet legal, tax, anti-fraud and dispute-resolution obligations:
- KYC / identity documents: retained for up to 5 years after account deletion
- Records of auctions, bids, purchases, security deposits and payments: retained for up to 8 years for accounting and tax purposes
- Records of disputes and reported chats: retained until resolved, and then for up to 3 years
Retained data is stored securely, is not used for marketing, and is deleted when the retention period ends.
Note: If you have an ongoing auction, unpaid purchase, pending deposit refund or open dispute, we may need to complete or resolve it before your account can be fully deleted.
